Missoula Community Chorus
The Missoula Community Chorus was founded in 2001 to provide an educational, cultural, and recreational resource for individuals interested in singing and performing a wide range of great music. We promote universal participation. We remain open to all interested people, willing to make a personal commitment to quality musicianship so that local audiences can enjoy high quality performances at reasonable or no cost.
Our Women’s Ensemble made its debut last spring with approximately 50 singers who rehearsed for 4 weeks and presented an informal concert. The group will meet again this July for 4 weeks and present their songs at MCC’s 3rd annual Summer Sing on August 4th. We are pleased to announce that the Women’s Ensemble will be an ongoing ensemble starting this fall. Click HERE if you would like to sing in the Women’s Ensemble this fall.
The Chamber Chorale was formed in 2004 as a vehicle to provide outreach programs for the Missoula Community Chorus. The singers are selected by audition from within the MCC. The Chamber Chorale’s 15 years of programs of choral repertoire, including everything from folk tunes to Handel’s Messiah and Bach’s Jesu Meine freude, have delighted and enchanted audiences from Darby to Condon.
MPower Voices is a choir for adults with disabilities. This group meets once a week in the fall and spring. They perform holiday tunes at Southgate Mall in December and in the spring, the choir has a Cabaret and Silent auction. This spring they shared an adapted performance of “The Wizard of Oz.”
